Hot tapping, sometimes referred to as pressure tapping, is a technique used to connect existing piping or pressure vessels without interrupting the flow of the pipeline. The process makes it possible to perform maintenance while the pipe is still in operation. Hot taps can range in size and are used to implement many applications in various industries including in oil, gas, water, and chemical pipelines.
Capabilities include:
Sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 24″
Temperatures through 450 degrees
Pressure through 300 psi.
We provide Hot Tapping services nationwide.
